The Long and Winding Road

Here, There and Everywhere

In My life

Some of my earliest memories are my parents singing in the kitchen, cooking my brother and I dinner while belting out every (and all) Abba or Beatles song there was. Following in their footsteps, Abba and The Beatles are my favorite artists and their music truly makes me feel a sense of home. With lyrics and music that makes me feel I could express myself most; The same feeling I feel when I found performing. I was born and raised in New Jersey to two theatre loving (still) performing parents, so no surprise that by the age of 4 I was thrown into auditions for my local youth theatre's production as Frog and Toad. Who knew being playing a Bird would change everything (4 year old me thought I knew) in my life! I started auditioning for every production my mom could find around us where I then found Performers Theatre Workshop (PTW) and began training there for the next 7 years. Taking every type of singing, acting, dance and musical theatre class I could. I learned and met the most incredible teachers and students who welcomed me into the world of theatre, introduced me to their theatre journeys and inspired me to find my own. Living in New Jersey made me so grateful to experience so much live theatre. Whether that was in New York City seeing Broadway or in NJ at PaperMill Playhouse I was truly surrounded by performing. I continued doing shows in middle school while still training at PTW over the weekends, resulting in me in some form of training 7 days a week. Without these experiences, I never would've found my love for performing and the authenticity theatre brings to one another. I am so grateful and every lesson and person I met during this time!

At 13, right before staring high school, my family and I packed up and moved to Florida! This change was what really showed me that no matter where I go or any new environment I was in, I could always find a home and be comfortable in theatre. I joined the theatre program at my high school, which opened up new doors and new interests in theatre. Some of my most favorite roles in high school included Bakers Wife in Into the Woods and Flounder in The Little Mermaid, my first lead roles. Sophomore year of high school, I found a local community theatre called The Naples Players. One audition later and I was doing shows there for the next 5 years. The Naples Players taught me the importance of individuality in theatre. I found a community of inspiring, empowering and hardworking individuals to look up to. Without these relationships and the constant support to continue in the industry, I wouldn't have made the decision to go to college for Musical Theatre. I committed to Florida Southern College in 2022 to obtain my Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. I couldn’t be more grateful for everyone and everything I have learned from Florida Southern. I was so lucky to have the most supportive professors who continuously for the past four years have pushed me to be the best, most authentic version of myself. On and off stage. I’ve come to realize that being a performer is about so much more than what is going on stage; it’s about the discipline of the craft and the courage to show up authentically every single day.

I was lucky to have so many wonderful leadership positions and extra curricular opportunities at FSC as well. In 2024-2025 I was elected “Public Relations and Graphic Designer" for our Student lead Theatre Club “Vagabonds” where I was in charge of the departments social media and all graphic design positions and for the past year (2025-2026) I have had the wonderful opportunity to have been elected President. These positions taught me the importance of communication through the department and organization as well; teaching me even more about showing interest and focus to the skills outside of performing and the importance of listening to your community around you. I am also a proud sister of Alpha Chi Omega, educating me on how to be a strong advocate for philanthropies of Domestic Violence Awareness and Mental Health Awareness. Both which I believe are incredibly important to discuss and necessities for building a world where every individual feels safe, heard, and supported. This is what led me to pair my BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Communications to learn how to advocate more outwardly. As I prepare to graduate from Florida Southern College this May, I am also grateful for my hobbies that keep me grounded. In my free time, I like to journal, go outside (probably trying to find some ocean to swim in), thrifting, watching the Pitch Perfect Riff Off and whatever else I randomly spark an interest in. After graduation, I plan to hit the road again with Missoula Children’s Theatre - Red Truck Tour, touring across the country! I am so grateful for this opportunity and to join my best friend on the road this time!
